As a Church in Wales School, we are inspected by the Church In Wales education team on our distinctive Christian character, values, and ethos. This specific evaluation is carried out through a Section 50 Inspection, which is designed to assess how effectively our school reflects its foundation as a faith-based institution.

During this inspection, key areas such as the impact of our Christian values on the school community, the quality of collective worship, the teaching of Religious Education, and the overall spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils are thoroughly reviewed.

The Section 50 Inspection ensures that our school not only provides high-quality education but also nurtures a strong sense of faith and ethical responsibility in our pupils. The findings from this inspection help us celebrate our achievements in fostering a caring and inclusive Christian environment, while also guiding us in areas where we can further enhance our provision.

At Cleddau Reach, we are proud of our Christian identity and the positive influence it has on shaping compassionate, respectful, and well-rounded learners.

Our last Section 50 Inspection took place in May 2026; the inspection team stated that:

"Cleddau Reach Church in Wales Primary School is a caring, inclusive community where learners are well supported by committed staff who promote Christian values and positive attitudes to learning."

"Leadership is collaborative, with the vision of Believe, Achieve, Inspire clearly embedded across the school. Governors, staff, and the Diocese work closely together to maintain high standards and promote wellbeing."

"All members of the school community share a clear commitment to inclusion and to living out Christian values."

"Learners are empowered to confidently articulate their own beliefs, values, and viewpoints, while showing respect, understanding, and empathy towards the beliefs and perspectives of others."
